Privacy Policy
The short version: your calculator inputs are never sent to us or stored, this site has no accounts, and the only analytics it uses is Microsoft Clarity, described below.
What happens to your inputs
Every calculation on this site runs locally in your own web browser, using JavaScript files served with the page. The numbers you type are not sent to a server, not stored, and not logged. When you close the tab, nothing remains anywhere on our side.
What the site does collect
Nothing directly. The site is a set of static pages. It shows no advertising and uses no social-media scripts. It does use one analytics service, Microsoft Clarity, described in the next section. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability, as every web host does; we do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
Analytics: Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, what is clicked, and how far pages are scrolled — so we can fix confusing layouts and broken tools. Clarity sets its own cookies and collects interaction data under Microsoft's privacy terms. Clarity masks the contents of form fields by default, and your calculator figures are still never sent to, or stored by, this website itself: every calculation runs locally in your browser, exactly as described above.
External links
Pages here link to official IRS resources (irs.gov). Sites you visit from those links have their own privacy policies.
Advertising and affiliates
The site currently shows no advertising and carries no affiliate links. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, advertisements will be clearly labelled, and no ad or affiliate script will ever receive your calculator inputs.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with its date. Last updated: October 26, 2026.
